A key component to revitalizing Main Street in downtown Hopkins, Minnesota, Marketplace Lofts successfully combines retail and residential uses in an urban setting, while preserving the character of the existing neighborhood.

Built with support from The City of Hopkins, the Hopkins Historical Society, the Hopkins Business and Civic Association, and the Metropolitan Council, this collaborative effort resulted in a dynamic new presence on Main Street. 18,000 SF of first floor retail maintains a historic storefront look to the building and compliments the neighboring buildings. 48 units of market-rate condominiums rise over the retail to complete this 4 story building. Retail parking is located off-street behind the building while residential parking is located underground.
