Lyndale Avenue in Richfield is coming alive with community activities this summer!  In addition to hosting a weekly Richfield Farmers Market at the Lyndale Gardens site, the City of Richfield will be hosting two of its summer concerts there.

The City of Richfield is considering where to locate its new bandshell. Lyndale Gardens will host 2 community concerts this summer, to see if the site is a potential fit for the new bandshell. The redevelopment will include a stage and seating overlooking Richfield Lake Park.

finished project will include public park spaces with amenities such as a stage for community concerts and performances, a children’s interactive water feature, an outdoor pizza oven, organic gardens, indoor/outdoor event space, and walking/bicycling trails.

The City of Richfield is considering where to locate a future city bandshell that will house its regular summer concert series and is looking at three possible locations: Veterans Park, Augsburg Park, and Lyndale Gardens.  In order to assess the potential of each location, the City will host concerts at each park this summer and concert-goers will be able to provide their feedback about the future bandshell location.  Lyndale Gardens is hoping to partner with the City of Richfield on the bandshell project and leverage funding already committed to the performance space by Metropolitan Council.
