Community Design Coordinator
Stephen supports Cornerstone’s community-based approach to development through engagement, design research, and facilitating best practices in creating connected and creative communities.
Prior to joining The Cornerstone Group, Stephen worked at Van Alen Institute in New York City coordinating international design competitions to produce innovative solutions to pressing social, cultural, and ecological challenges. He also worked at Hester Street Collaborative coordinating community engagement strategies, design installations, and public programming aimed at creating resident driven neighborhood change; and at Syracuse University, where he developed and lead design studios, civic engagement and urban revitalization initiatives, exhibitions, conferences and publications.
